Hi! I’m Diana and I am a former burnt out mama who learned how to prioritize her health and fitness.
I am a doctor of physical therapy with 14 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine and have specialized in pelvic floor physical therapy for over 7 years. I am passionate about helping pregnant and postpartum women get back to daily activities, exercise, and sex pain free and without bladder leakage through my method that has helped dozens of women.
Being someone who enjoys working out, I found myself confused about what activities I could return to after I had my son and had alot of fear about what core exercises I could safely start doing. Interestingly enough, I was 7 months postpartum when I decided to shift my specialty as an orthopedic physical therapist to become trained and specialized in pelvic floor physical therapy. That is when I was blown away with what appropriate return to exercise entails and how scarce good quality information is for women returning to exercise postpartum.
Ever since it has been my mission to educate pregnant and postpartum women about their bodies and the most effective exercises to be done at each stage of the perinatal period and beyond. A: 45 minute presentation followed by a 15 minute Q&A at the end
Q: What if I can’t make the live zoom presentation?
A: This masterclass will be recorded and you will receive a link to the recording within 24 hours of the presentation
Q: Who is this masterclass intended for?
A: This workshop is for moms who are newly postpartum up to 2 years, but could also be appropriate for anyone looking to get back to exercise no matter how old their kids are at this point.
Moms to be in their third trimester who want to get ahead of the game and set themselves up for success post baby!
Q: Will we be doing exercises during this class?
A: While recommended exercises will be discussed, there will be no exercises being performed during this masterclass
Q: What other resources will I need?
